I'm so nervous for applying to schools. Actually, I'm more nervous for actually waiting to see if I get accepted or not, I really only have one option for schools, it's a do or die situation pretty much.

I've been working a lot on my drawing/painting lately, which has been fun especially since I'm taking a class this Saturday with Olivia for fashion illustrations at OCAD, I'm so excited!

Here's something I've been just playing with. It's mostly me playing around with different techniques with water colors/a ton of water on paper. I basically soak my paper with water and then splat paint and let it drip dry (literally).



So happy it's a short week.

My first attempt at an "intellectual" form of artwork called, art video! With the amazing Olivia Dolphin by my side, we carefully brought a bubble machine to the halls of our high school and film the interactions with the bubbles, and how humans initial reaction is to pop the bubble.



Once you watch the video, you'll see the contrast between the people outside of the bubble (slowed down, classical music section) and the people trapped within the bubble (face paced, "creepy" sections)

I've neglected you, and I apologize. I've been consistently on the run with assignments and the thought of applying to universities soon that I've forgotten when I treasured most, YOU BEAUTIFUL BLOG!

I think it was a couple weeks ago, I seriously feel in love with art. I never once have successfully picked up a paint brush and practiced, worked on drawings, and frequently complained about how awful I was when it came to producing something other then photographs. Recently I've realized that my complaining must come to an end and I should really just suck it up and practice, considering I'm wanting to apply to an art related field. The medium I feel in love with was water color, and I've found my own style of drawing with pencil, outlining in black pen and then water color on top!

It's nothing close to spectacular, but I enjoy it, and I'm having fun. Hopefully I'll post so more of my process considering I've used this blog to only really show photographs. I'll throw at you some fashion illustrations and just some stuff I decide to create on random occasions.
